Vixen Society
Cycle 10
After a hearty
breakfast, Troy decided that her next order of business was a nice
long shower. She was going to have to block out more time in the
mornings ahead to get so much hair and fur properly cleaned and
groomed, but today she could take as long as she wanted and examine
every inch of her voluptuous form.
In the shower, she
noticed a few more details about her amazing new body. For one thing,
she did something unusual and sang in the shower, making the
discovery in the process that her vocal range was about as broad as a
girl's could be, from the low, mature alto her speaking voice tended
toward to the highest, cutest soprano that she'd found herself making
some canine yips in before. For another, her face and body now
sported soft, smooth skin with an impressive natural complexion that
could make any woman jealous. She didn't remember any particular
changes to her skin before, so this must have come somewhere in that
final burst of transformation the night before. Finally, coming out
of the shower, she saw a round, cute face in the mirror—another
last-stretch change no doubt—and also finally noticed her eyes.
Their old, dull
brown color had been replaced by a pretty, bright yellow, and...come
to think of it, they were no longer nearsighted! Her vision had been
absolutely perfect from when she woke up that morning until now, and
it hadn't even occurred to her until this very moment. She
smirked at her pretty face in the mirror, thinking: If there was one
thing Troy would've asked for as a body modification at any point
in his-now-her life, it probably would've been no longer needing
glasses.
The one set of
clothes that sort of fit her—what she'd woken up in—were far from
being a complete outfit, and anyway they were kind of dirty and messy
from her sleeping on the couch in them. That didn't bother the
wolf-girl, though—she just put on some boxers that hugged her hips
awkwardly and a boy-cut t-shirt which slid partway off one of her
narrow shoulders to show some neckline and draped over her giant
boobs like a tent. Had she been jealous of how well Carter pulled off
a tomboy look like this before? Maybe, somewhere deep down, she
had—but there was no reason to feel that way anymore!
She went about much
of the day in a fairly mundane way, taking care of more or less the
exact same tasks she would've if she hadn't found herself
suddenly converted into a beautiful, curvy wolf-girl. Nonetheless,
the fact that that was what she was now made her quite happy every
single time she was reminded of it, and she only felt more grateful
to have been 'cursed' the more she became used to her lovely new
shape. The one thing that was guaranteed to be a bit different, of
course, was when everyone else showed up at Troy's house for the
game. She giggled softly to herself when she imagined their
reactions, and occasionally felt like she couldn't wait to see the
real thing!
Vincent woke up to
the sound of an alarm in another room. It took a moment to make sense
of a number of strange things: a body that felt strangely small and
soft, another, slightly bigger, curvy body wrapped around that
one...tails...at about this point, her mind caught up and remembered
what had happened the night before. And Luca was making a cute sound
halfway between a meow and a sleepy groan.
"Aaah, we both
got work today..."
"Right. You go turn your alarm off." The fox-girl gently shoved the other girl off of her and out of the bed, where she landed semi-gracefully on her hands and knees, then sat up herself and turned to face the catgirl.
Luca didn't seem particularly bothered by this, nimbly hopping to her feet and brushing herself off instead. "Uhh, so so, what're we gonna—"
"Alarm." Vincent pointed emphatically in the direction of the bedroom.

"Okay
okay..!"
Once the catgirl was off out of the room, Vincent stood up, stretched, and returned the bed to its original, couch shape, sweeping the covers up into the air before landing them in a neatly folded stack on top of one of the cushions. By then, Luca was back. "I bet there's only one shower in this tiny apartment, huh?"
"Uhm, yep!"

"Can you take
a quick shower?"
"U-um.." She blushed, crossing her arms and looking down at the very curvy body the vixen had given her the night before.

Vincent sighed and
raised her right hand, snapping her fingers. In a visible, audible
poof of black smoke, Luca changed entirely back to male, including
having his original build, wearing boxers and a tank top—but
retained the feline traits. "Now can you take a quick
shower?"
"U-uh..s-sure! I've been in a way bigger hurry than this," he said, still blushing furiously but not for exactly the same reasons.

"Then I'll let
you go first if you make us breakfast."
"Uhhhh—deal." He ran off to do it.
"Uhhhh—deal." He ran off to do it.
Vincent turned to
her discarded clothes from the night before. She could...pretty much
make them look however she wanted, and magic could maybe
technically clean them too, but the idea of doing that mildly
disgusted her. She'd just make the catboy lend her some of his clean
clothes instead, and alter them to fit her until she could get back
to her own house after work today. It probably made the most sense to
leave him male as they went to work (and he was cute enough like that
anyway), but as for her...she rather liked the idea of staying like
this. A small, harmless-looking girl with a bright grin would catch
more flies than vinegar..or something like that.
no kidding!
he seriously just invited me into
his office and offered me a job right then and there!
That's great!
Happy for you, girl.
Olivia was feeling
clever enough at this point to pose the society a question, a sort of
challenge. That, and...she actually wanted reassurance in this
matter.
uh hey...just to be sure
this isnt like
something you guys arranged right?
Absolutely not!
We arranged to help you awaken, I'll
admit. That was our goal all along.
But if you were recognized by the
owner of that gym, that's all you, girl!
thanks.
Even
though Olivia knew they could still
just be lying, something...instinctive, told her that they weren't.
It was like she was getting used to how lies 'tasted', with her own
recently-gained capacity for and experience with illusions, and this
'tasted' honest enough to her.
by the way uh
i feel kinda different when i hear
or say the word 'deal' lately
like it means more than it used to?
Oh no, did you make a Deal with
someone?!
We should've probably warned you about that...
We should've probably warned you about that...
Kitsune have a few rules we're
supposed to follow, another
voice advised her. Among them is if someone makes a Deal
with one of us, and hands are shaken to seal it, we must abide by it.
And we tend to feel unreasonably
upset if the other party doesn't hold up their end of the bargain,
too.
It's a little something to give
everyone assurances that certain things we say are guaranteed to be
honest.
But it's actually another way we can
fool people, if we're careful enough with the wording.
well
in this case the owner of the gym
said i was hired, and that was pretty much the whole 'Deal', i guess
So that's all on him.
Good, good.
but i also made a Deal with someone
else earlier, that if like
if i was in a place where i was
looking to hire someone
then i'd consider him first?
but its like, just to 'come to' him,
not a guaranteed job or anything
Well, that's a relief, then.
I guess you're a natural at making
loose enough Deals to get away from.
Just be careful from now on, now
that you know what it means!
sure.
She also shared the
news with Angus a couple of days later. She hadn't been able to find
him at lunchtime, but happened upon him after an afternoon full of
illusory pranks and eagerly invited him along to supper.
"Movin' up in
the world, eh?" he was saying.
"Yeah, I-I
guess so. I'm excited, but alsooo—a little bit nervous? Like, I
haven't changed jobs in such a long time, and I've never done any
work like what I'm gonna get trained in."
"Life's got its ups and downs, missy. If this job don't work out, you'll find somethin' else quick enough. You're still young, after all."
"Life's got its ups and downs, missy. If this job don't work out, you'll find somethin' else quick enough. You're still young, after all."
"Mmh,"
she nodded, not entirely sure she agreed with this encouragement but
wanting to believe it anyway.
"There's
also—well, I need to quit my old job tomorrow. Annnd, the thing is,
I kinda don't wanna just quit it. It feels a little bit like
it'd be uhm, a missed opportunity."
"You want to pull a trick on 'em?" he said, and she nodded.
"You want to pull a trick on 'em?" he said, and she nodded.
"It's like I
have this urge to, not let the chance pass me by. Since none of those
people really even know who I am, and there's a pretty good chance
most of them will never see me again..it'd be fairly easy to get away
with messing with them."
"Well, let's see. You're pretty good at makin' folks see somethin' that ain't really there, right?" Angus said.
"Yeah..?" Olivia nodded.
"Well, let's see. You're pretty good at makin' folks see somethin' that ain't really there, right?" Angus said.
"Yeah..?" Olivia nodded.
"There's no
need for you to do nothin' harmful or unpleasant," he said.
"What you oughta do—if you can pull it off—is give 'em all a
midday fireworks show. Pull the fire alarm when you're 'bout to
leave, so everyone's gotta evacuate. Then, go to where they all
congregate outside, make 'em see the sky go pitch black and fireworks
up in the air! Boom!" He gestured excitedly.
"Huh...I could
do that," she said, nodding slowly. "Well—I dunno
about.." Pulling the fire alarm might bring in the fire
department—wasting the time they might need to save some actual
lives in danger. It might set off the sprinkler system too, and
that could ruin quite a lot of stuff. But then, Olivia
realized, she could make people hear things that weren't
actually there too. "Actually, nevermind, I know what I can do."
Faking a fire alarm was just about as easy for her as really pulling
it, without causing quite as many problems for people...not to
mention without technically committing a crime. "You...wanna
come see it too?"
"Heheh, sure! Count me in," he said, nodding. So Olivia gave him the place and time.
"Heheh, sure! Count me in," he said, nodding. So Olivia gave him the place and time.
"I'll be
there, missy, you can count on it."
Troy opened the
door to find Carter standing there—the first one to arrive yet
again. "Hey, Carteerr, welcome~!" The fox-girl paused in
place for a second, looking her up and down with an uncertain
expression. Meanwhile the wolf-girl noticed that, despite her own
fairly drastic loss of height, the vixen was still markedly shorter
than her. Come to think of it, Troy was still pretty tall for a girl,
which she rather liked.
"...Wait—Troy?"
"...Wait—Troy?"
"Mm-hm!"
She waved. "C'mon, you're letting bugs in." Carter came
inside, still looking confused. "You seem more surprised than I
thought you would about the results of your curse," she
said.
"Is that what—oh, wait." The fox-girl visibly thought about it for a second. "No, yeah, I guess that does make sense. At least you seem to like it?"
"Way more than expected, yeah! I look and feel amaziiing!"
"Is that what—oh, wait." The fox-girl visibly thought about it for a second. "No, yeah, I guess that does make sense. At least you seem to like it?"
"Way more than expected, yeah! I look and feel amaziiing!"
"It is a pretty good look on you, but—" Carter reached over to gently prod her chest just once. "You know, you're gonna need some really good support for those puppies, right? Unless you're into having massive, crippling back pain."
"Ohh, yeah, I know—I'll take care of that stuff tomorrow. I was too busy getting ready for the game today!"
"Hmmn, yeah, I guess this is gonna be pretty
interesting."
One by one, all the other guys showed up, each one obviously staring
Troy's way for a long moment and seeming to resist the urge to say
anything—at least at first. When she openly flirted with and teased
them, they felt more welcome to compliment her back, and—unlike
Carter—she rather liked this attention. Actually, the blonde
fox-girl seemed moderately happy with this arrangement too, as their
eyes were too busy with the new wolf-girl to leer at her quite
so much.
The flirting died down as Troy began to DM the game, and before long
everyone settled into more or less the usual routine. Well—of
course some of the boys' eyes lingered her way now and then when the
fact that their DM was a voluptuous wolf-eared woman re-entered their
brains, but they snapped out of it quickly enough to keep their
characters from dying to monster attacks. That didn't mean they
weren't still interested, though, and with Carter totally
uninterested in dating, Troy knew full well that she had the pick of
the litter. Eventually she settled on one particular target, her wild
instincts making her feel like she was on the hunt, waiting to
pounce...after the game was over, that was.
The Wednesday after
Kiera's awakening into a cute catgirl, she and Ella were sitting on a
bench out on a little field of grass in the middle of their college's
campus. The Kitsune had her phone in front of her and was pretending
to play on it while actually playing subtle little pranks on
the people around them; Kiera was leaning on her hand with that arm's
elbow on the armrest, eyes shut, pretending to nap. She would
be actually napping, but...
"Hey,"
she mumbled. "Ella, don' look up from your phone."
"...Wwwwhat's up?" she whispered back after a second.
"...Wwwwhat's up?" she whispered back after a second.
"You noticed
that guy yet?"
"Uhh, no. What guy? There's guys all around."
"Uhh, no. What guy? There's guys all around."
"The one
looking at us."
"Uh, hellooo? We're two cute girls sitting on a bench, plenty of guys checking us out here."
"No, I mean the one...seriously, you haven't noticed him? He's halfway behind a tree on the left."
"Uhm....hm. Wait, you mean the scary-looking guy with the scars?"
"Yeah, that one. I bet he's still staring right at us, unless you just tipped him off that you've noticed him."
"Hey, I'm better than that," Ella protested. "So he's staring at us, so what?"
The Neko sighed. "How is it I haven't been a girl for half as long as you have, and still know more about it? He's been doing that ever since Monday. I bet he's been following you around before now, too."
"N-no way! I would've noticed."
"You sure?"
"Uh, y-yeah! I mean, maybe.."

"Okay okay...I've been so busy making sure I was hiding my pranks from people that I never really looked to see if anyone was watching me or whatever."
"Okay okay...I've been so busy making sure I was hiding my pranks from people that I never really looked to see if anyone was watching me or whatever."
"We've gotta
do something about this," the catgirl said. "But if he
thinks we're so much as looking his way, he'll bolt."
"Really?" Ella evidently tested this herself. "Ohh..yep. Looked at the tree, and he went running off. You think we should...tell someone, or something?"
Kiera sat up slightly and opened her eyes lazily, like she was stirring from sleep, and turned toward her roommate. "I dunno, he's like..maybe not doing anything illegal? I mean, I haven't noticed him pulling out his phone to record or anything. Honestly, I'd rather tell him this is not okay myself first."
"Isn't that...dangerous?"
"Not in the middle of a big, public place like this. But we gotta keep him from running away first."

"Hmm...I've
got an idea," the Kitsune said, grinning.
