Wild Energy

It was Brad's turn, so Darren packed some of his stuff and went over to his friend's apartment to laze around, play games, hang out...whatever. This was more or less how the two of them had spent their Saturdays for a while—sometimes with other friends; sometimes, like today, with just the two of them. He walked the short distance to his friend's apartment complex, came to the door and knocked on it, shifting the weight of his backpack left and right on his feet while he waited for an answer. Darren was the picture of a nerd: about average height, skinny, with somewhat overlong black hair and huge glasses on his face, completed by a hoodie he wore almost all the time with a faded Zelda logo on the back. He'd shown some warlock-level talent in his second year of high school, and was taking a major in spellcasting now that that was a thing.

A slightly taller, moderately chunky guy with brown hair and a huge grin permanently affixed to his face opened the door—Brad. "Yoo, welcome brah!" He exercised regularly, but he was almost always eating or drinking something, and his metabolism wasn't exactly the fastest. As far as his interests and major went, this guy was much more of a nerd than his friend, but he didn't act like one. He behaved more like a frat guy, minus actually joining a fraternity. "C'mon in!" He swung himself out of the way, leaving the door hanging open for his visitor to come in and shut, setting his backpack down not far inside. Without any obvious tell a third-party observer could've identified, Darren knew right away that he was up to something. Well, in a situation like this there was nothing for it but to wait for him to reveal it; sometimes it was even fun.

He didn't want to play his hand right away, whatever it was. Instead they went to the game room and played a co-op shooter they'd left off about halfway through last week, Brad scarfing down snacks while Darren occasionally nibbled like always. Sitting on opposite sides of the couch, Darren leaning back and staring intently at the screen and rarely speaking while his friend yelled and whooped and moved around constantly, the two of them couldn't seem much more different. To someone who didn't know them, it would've seemed like the skinny guy in the glasses was bored or annoyed or something—but Brad knew him well enough to tell. They got through the last level around when most people would've had lunch, but..since both of them had been eating the whole time, they didn't need to stop for that.

"Aaah, that was great, dude. Good pick!" He put out a palm, which Darren leaned partway up to slap. "Whashu wanna do now, man?"
"I dunno. You got something in mind?" he waved vaguely. He asked this in a casual tone of voice, but fully expected to be giving his friend an opportunity to spring whatever it was.
"Weeeell. I was browsin' the library.." Darren gave him a look. "Okay okay, I was checkin' if they had a textbook I needed so I don't gotta rent it. The system said they didn't, but they totally did! Anywho, while I was doin' that I practically tripped over, uhh..." He twisted around sideways, leaning most of his weight over the armrest to reach something under the end table, before springing upright again with an old-looking, brown-covered book in hand. "..this! Check it out!" He tossed it to Darren, who barely managed the reflexes to catch it.

"The librarian said it wasn't even theirs, so I can keep it! But I can't read the cover. Or, uh, any of what's inside," his friend said while he looked at the ornate writing taking up the top third of the front cover. "But I know magic stuff when I see it! Didn'chu take a course on old occult languages last semester or something?"
"Yeeah.." It seemed this was a collection of 'miscellaneous spells', for lack of a better translation: Spells that didn't, at the time, fit under any other category. How someone's spellbook from probably a century-plus ago wound up in the library was anyone's guess. "It's a spellbook, I think," he reported after a moment.
"So what kinda spells it got?" Brad demanded eagerly.
Darren took this as a prompt to open it up and flip through some of the pages. Well—'miscellaneous' was right. "Weird ones. 'Turn wood blue'," he read, stopping on a random page. "'Rotate Pillow'? 'Detect alcohol'—hope the dorm RA's never get ahold of this one."
"Hahaa, yeah. You think they work?"

His glasses peeked over the top of the book. "You want me to test them. Here," he said flatly.
"Well, yeah. If it's harmless enough anyway! I'd love to see some-a whachu been studying!" he said. "I mean, I show you my stuff all the time!" Brad was often proud of his slightly buggy remakes of ancient arcade games coded in C++.
"You sure do...fine, that last one's probably harmless. Might only detect you though."
"Hey, I've had nothin' since last night, man."
"You really think that much is all gone by now?" Darren joked dryly, and then made the prescribed motion and brief chant to detect alcohol.

He could briefly 'feel' some liquid in three distinct can shapes in the kitchen fridge...and also a bit of it in the bottom of a bottle between the couch cushions. Reaching down, he found it and pulled it out, shaking it slightly in front of his friend in a questioning gesture. "Aww, man, I wondered where the last of that went!" Brad said, snatching it from his hand and setting it on the end table behind him. "Hey, do another one! Uhh, this do-nothing's made of wood," he said, picking up the small device and offering it over.

Darren sighed. "I'm gonna exhaust myself if I try every stupid spell in this book. Maybe fail next week's homework?" Still, he tried this spell too, and a blue coloration spread from where his hands contacted the nothing grinder on along the rest of it. "...Remind me not to cast that on any flooring or furniture." He tossed the do-nothing back to his friend, who nimbly caught it and set it back down.
"It'd be a pretty sweet prank, though! I mean—it wears off, right?"
"Hmm...'three hours duration'. Guess so. Wonder why it only does blue, though."
"Well, hey, what else is in there? Anything cool? Or mysterious?"

"Hmm." Darren flipped through more of the book. "I think all the cool spells were reprinted sometime this century," he said. "...I dunno what this means. Literal translation is 'Spin Backwards Tie'..like, tying a knot." His friend hopped off the couch, immediately going to look for something in his room. He came back pretty quickly with some shoestring.
"It's not backwards, but it's a knot," Brad said, quickly tying a simple knot in the string and handing it over.
After he cast the spell, Darren could feel one end of the string pulling against the hand holding it, and let it go. It quickly threaded through the knot, untying itself. "Oh...backwards tie, un-tie, duh."
"More solid prank material," his friend said, nodding to himself.

Getting toward the back of the fairly thin tome, Darren noticed the instructions for the spells getting longer, soon taking up an entire page or two. These were probably the ones with 'bigger' effects, so...maybe doing one of these would placate his friend and they could move on to something else. "Huuh. 'Wolf Blessing'? 'Imbues target with beauty and strength of'.." he mumbled, half to himself, as he skimmed through. "...to harness potential into boundless wild energy..."
"Yo, let's try that one! I could use some strength and 'beauty', y'know!" Brad said, jokingly flexing his slightly flabby arms.
"I'm not even sure this is supposed to target a person. And not, like, an object or animal or something. It doesn't really clarify."
"Well, what's the worst it could do if it's not for people, huh?"
"Hmmh." Darren thought through the more general bits of theory he knew, cross-referencing it with the spell. It seemed to have a lot of 'safety' to it, actually, which was surprising for something so old. "Probably nothing? I'm not sure, though."
"Duude." Brad pointed back at him with finger-guns when he looked over the top of the book again. "No way to tell but test it out, right?"

He sighed. "Okay, but this is the last one, even if it does nothing. I gotta have something in the tank for next week's classes."
"Fine with me. We can look at more of it next week! I mean, y'know, if you wanna." Brad did have a sense of boundaries, after all, and understood that this was annoying his friend a bit.
"Yeah, sure, maybe." He could read through this more carefully later and look for anything actually interesting, Darren thought. "Okay, get up." He gestured, and did the same, before pushing the coffee table back toward the TV. "We need some space."
"Oooh, it's one-a those spells, huh?" Brad said, sounding more interested than ever.
"Yyep. Hh-okay," he breathed out, setting the book aside after memorizing the spell's steps.

There were some motions to be made, along with chanting the same phrase over and over while picturing a wolf in his mind. Darren's brain picked out an arctic wolf in particular for some reason, and he just went with it to keep from breaking his concentration. A faint white glow appeared around his arms after a moment, which made his friend even more excited, and that was his cue to 'push' the spell up into his palms and then hold his hands out palm-first toward the 'target'. The white glow brightened about his hands and then flowed in thick, wavy streams from there to Brad's body, landing squarely in the center of his chest. He shuddered slightly, mumbling "Duuude," and then the spell was cast.

Darren exhaled slowly, lowering his arms. That had been even 'bigger' than he thought; even if he wanted to cast something else today, he probably wouldn't be able to without overextending. "How d'you feel? Any stronger?"
"Uhh, well. It felt warm, kinda...fluffy?" Brad said, seeming uncertain. "But only while it was going in. I feel, pretty much normal now?" He looked down at himself, evidently trying to see if anything was different—which, as far as the warlock-in-training could tell, it wasn't.

He went to sit down and pick up the book again, reading the information about the spell again. It didn't seem right for a spell to take that much out of him and yet do nothing at all. "Okay, yeah..'activation period: Up to twelve hours'...'Duration: Week'. Ah."
"So, like, it might do something after all? Duuude." Brad grinned with anticipation. "I can't wait!"
"Well, apparently we'll have to. What now?"

Thankfully, the spellbook wasn't all he'd had planned. In no time at all, they were playing another game, and this time Darren ate a bit more to recover his energy from that spell. He glanced over at his friend occasionally, trying to see if he could detect anything happening. Over the course of a full three hours, he couldn't even 'sense' any magic taking effect.
The more it seemed like nothing was going on, the more he kind of wanted to see something. Darren had to admit that studying magic might have jaded him to it a little bit, like the mystery and fun was gone now that he understood too much of the inner workings and had to use it all the time. But this weird, seemingly do-nothing spell with such a vague description..it made him catch a little bit of his friend's excitement and wonder. Hopefully it wouldn't just be a bust.

Around four hours after the spell was cast, Brad muttered "Whoa", and he paused the game, looking over at the other side of the couch.
"What? You feel something?" Looking back at him, Darren didn't spot anything obvious.
"My ears feel weird, dude. Uh.." He reached a hand up and moved his hair, which..now that he was really looking at it, his friend realized seemed a little longer and messier than before. And its color... "See anything?"

At first, he thought it was just more hair. Then he realized: There was hair on his ear, as in growing out of it. And the ear was bigger, too. "Um..it's, growing. And getting hairy," he said.
"Dude!" Brad hopped off the couch instantly and ran for the nearest mirror—in his bathroom. His friend followed a bit more slowly, and by the time he arrived the ear was poking out past his hair without any help. "It's really growing. Sweet!"
"You're not, uh..worried?" His hair was visibly pushing its way out, too, uneven locks forming longer bangs, making their way down the sides of his face, and slowly gaining volume and length in the back. The color was changing too, both the hair and ears, specifically getting brighter with the tint beginning to wash out.
"Hey, it only lasts a week, right? I could turn all the way into a wolf for a week and not mind. Aoow!" he fake-howled as a joke, but..now that Darren thought about it, those ears were taking on a bit of a triangular shape as they grew—and the hairs on them were kind of like fur, too. Plus, the trajectory of the color could easily be toward white, just like the fur of the wolf he'd pictured. "I'd get outta classes for sure!"

Darren shook his head, trying not to worry. "You realize I'd get in trouble for that, right?" He wasn't shrinking or having his anatomy significantly altered, so...probably not a full wolf transformation. Surely that would've been labeled clearly as such anyway, instead of some vague nonsense about 'beauty and strength' and 'wild energy'.
It seemed like now that Brad was aware of, and excited by, the change, it came on faster and faster, until his hair was a snowy white mess just shy of shoulder-length, with a pair of big, fluffy wolf ears rising well past it, actively twitching and turning this way and that. He ran a hand through his hair and across the top of an ear, grinning widely. "Awesome! Dude, you gotta feel this fur. It's like, super soft!"
"I'm not touching your fur," Darren declared, crossing his arms.
"Okay! Your loss, though."

"Is anything else different?"
"Hmm, no..?" He turned back around to stare in the mirror. "Oh, wait! Look at my eyes!" He pointed, and in the reflection Darren could see a change moving through their irises like some sort of chemical reaction, a bright amber shade quickly taking over. "Cool!" He paused after this, moving his jaw around a bit. "Ooh, that felt sorta weird." Opening his mouth, Brad poked at longer, sharper fangs that some of his teeth had turned into.
On the balance, it seemed like the spell was turning him...part-wolf? Darren continued to hope that this was as drastic as it would get. And, indeed, they waited quietly for a moment as nothing at all happened once again.

"Man. I dunno what's so 'strength and beauty' about this, but it's pretty sweet, right?" Brad said, turning to his friend with a typical toothy grin—which now also served to show off the fangs.
"If you say so," Darren shrugged. He'd never had an inkling his friend was into this sort of thing before—and maybe Brad hadn't either. But, as long as he was happy...

They went back to playing the game some more. Another hour or so passed, and then Brad suddenly yelped—"Aack!" and scooted forward, twisting around to look at his back. His shirt had something lifting up its hem. "Dude, that came outta nowhere," he said, pulling back the hem to reveal a short lump of white fur. "Hurt to lean back on it." It was already beginning to visibly spread out longer and thicker, even as he gently prodded it in confusion.
"Tail," Darren said tersely. "You got ears, and fangs, and..wolf eyes, I guess—so there's your tail, too."
"Oooh. Hahah!" Brad ran a hand gently down the fuzzy appendage—which was already twice the length they had first seen it—and shivered slightly. "Duude, that feels sooo weird. And it's warm, too!" He grinned, placing a hand near the base of the tail while the rest of it began to wag already.

Its growth accelerated, causing the growing fur to brush across that hand, which seemed to give him some sort of..sensation. "Ah..mm...rrf!" His hand lifted off of it in surprise, letting the full length swish back and forth, the tip sliding across the back of the couch, and he looked up at Darren. "Dude, did I just bark?"
"Uh..sounded like it." This wasn't easing the mage's worries much.
"Woof! Rruf!" The first one was just Brad saying the word 'woof', but the second one sounded exactly like a deep bark from an actual canine. "Hahah, that's wild, man!" Meanwhile, his tail grew to at least the length of one of his arms, its fluffy fur spreading out to as wide as his head near the base. "Hey, you wanna feel this?" he offered as its growth slowed to a halt, brushing through a bit of it with his hand. "It's like a big furry pillow!"
"Uhh, no," Darren said flatly. "..Is it over?"

"Hmm. Uh.." Brad looked down and around at himself. "Yeah, think so. But hey, we thought that before, right?" At least, nothing else seemed to be changing. He wasn't breaking out in fur all over or anything.
"Well, I hope so. Let's see..maybe 'strength' is the fangs, and 'beauty' the..tail, or something?" Darren guessed; normal wolves didn't have such big, fluffy tails. It didn't explain his hair growing out, but that looking 'wilder' went along with the rest of it, maybe. As for energy...well, with Brad he probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
"Yeah, maybe. Oh, man, I wonder if I can balance better with this baby!" Brad stood up and put his arms out to either side, lifting one of his legs. His tail did seem to move to try and counterbalance him, but it didn't fully succeed. "Whooaaa!" He flopped back onto the couch sideways. "Hahah, guess not."
"If you can walk normally with that big weight behind you, then your balance is better," Darren replied. "Or, I dunno, at least adjusted to help with it."

It was around suppertime now, so the two of them did take a proper break to eat. Brad seemed perfectly able to walk around, and the fangs presented no obvious issue to chewing food—nor, now that Darren thought of it, to his speech. It wasn't hard to imagine a spell this old making the changes inconvenient, so he had to count his friend lucky in that regard.

Brad felt amazing. It was hard to describe the why, or how, but..something about having fluffy ears, a tail, fangs..those eyes! He just loved it. It wasn't something he could put into words, but he was delighted to know he'd get to keep this stuff for a full week. Maybe recasting the spell would lengthen it, he thought, or maybe Darren or one of his professors knew something to make transformations 'stick'. He'd never really imagined himself having wolf parts like this before, but now that he did, the idea of losing it forever after a week was almost crushing. Not that he really thought too hard about that just yet!

Darren was staring at him as he slowly finished his meal, which made him even slower than usual. "What? Something on my face?"
"No..just trying to see if it's really over this time," he said, and then shrugged. "Look..maybe I should stay here tonight, in case it does something really weird?" They usually went their separate ways after supper, after all.
"Duude, I'm up for it!" Brad said, giving a friendly thumbs-up. "You bring some clothes?"
"Yeah, some," he shrugged. Darren was just dependable like that, ready for—well, not anything, but lots of things anyway. That meant, of course, that after supper they went right back to gaming!

Brad didn't feel any different, and didn't see anything new in the mirror, for five more entire hours. He would've probably stayed up all night, but by now his friend was yawning, obviously tired out from casting the wolfy spell, and the only 'guest bed' Brad's apartment had was the couch. It seemed like a poor display of gratitude to keep him up all night like this, so Brad put up a fake yawn himself. "Dude, growing a tail really takes it outta ya. I'mma go to bed, I think," he announced.
"Alright," Darren nodded. "Lemme know if you notice anything weird."
"Will do, man!"

Brad wasn't complicated when it came to going to bed. He brushed his teeth, dropped his pants, and dove onto the mattress, pulling the covers over himself. He closed his eyes, pushing his face straight into the pillow, and...

And...he couldn't quite get to sleep. It usually didn't even take long enough for him to notice, he thought, turning over onto his side. But hey, he'd had a pretty exciting day, and still felt full of energy from seeing the changes that spell had made. He loved how warm, and soft, and fuzzy his fur felt—hair too, now that he thought of it. Brad reached up a hand and ran it across an ear and on down through his longer, snowy hair. "Rrf," he barked softly to himself. Fuzzy..warm...

A tingling started at the base of his ears and spread down across his face, to his shoulders, arms, chest, belly, hips..legs... He shuddered slightly, pulling the hand in to prod his face. The touch felt kind of nice, a little bit like it did when he'd touched that tail earlier, and he found himself rubbing his cheek across his fingers. And...as the tingling faded, his hand found the skin there unusually soft and smooth, his usual stubble gone.
"Hmmnh?" Reaching the other hand down (his cheek still rubbing pleasantly against the right one), Brad found that his belly and legs had the same sort of skin: Soft, smooth. How wonderful, he thought—it was the opposite of his fur and hair, yet in some ways just the same. Most importantly, it felt great.

"Mrr~rrh.." Brad's hands reached up to the pillow, pulling it around into a hug with his face pressed into it. He began gently moving his face back and forth, a motion he soon recognized as nuzzling it. There was a gentle, pleasant pressure all across his body, and he found it easy to hug the pillow more tightly as he felt himself shrinking, his shirt and boxers getting looser and the covers finding more room to fall around his body. "Rr~rrf..!" His voice sounded a little strange now, a little..higher, maybe?
But, more importantly, Brad could perceive something very specific happening: His gut was getting smaller! His arms were thinning down too, and his legs..well, lower legs at least, were also trimming away their fat. "Du~ude," he mumbled softly, hearing his voice crack mid-word. "Duu~uude..!" A tenor voice came out this time, squeaking halfway through like a boy's at the outset of puberty.

One hand still wrapped around the pillow, Brad ran the other one down his neck to the opposite shoulder, then brought it back over to its own side to run down the side of his chest to the belly and rotate forward to its front. His shoulders were so narrow now, so small..and there was only the faintest bump of pudge left to his stomach. Am I gonna get abs? he wondered, which somehow came through his mouth as a high, canine "Ahm, rrr~rf!" But..he wasn't so sure he wanted abs, somehow. It wouldn't be..very...soft?
Speaking of that, one part of him was very not soft just now. Somehow, the tingling and pressing sensations had excited the thing between Brad's legs just a bit. It all just felt so, so nice! Now that he was aware of it, it tingled strangely, which only served to stimulate it more, but then he began to feel a gentle tugging, slipping sensation down there...and now it was shrinking.

Brad pulled his head back from the pillow. "Aa~ah..?" he muttered softly, a young boy's voice coming out. "D-dude, my...i-i-it's..rrf!" After a high, cute bark, he buried his face in the pillow again, finding the sensation of his manhood quickly reducing disturbingly pleasant. And yet, it made sense too, didn't it? He wanted to be soft and fluffy, and that meant...that meant...!
"Oo~oh..n-no wa~ay.." Even muffled by the pillow, Brad could hear his voice changing even more now, maturing again but in a decidedly non-male way. His face felt awfully warm, and his tail was starting to whip itself back and forth, agitating the covers to slide around across his newly small, slender body. All of a sudden the spell's advertised effect of 'beauty' made far too much sense, as something which had defined him ever since puberty steadily shrank and slipped away.

"Aa~ah..!" A woman's voice came from his throat now, as he felt the sensation between his legs intensifying—his manhood beginning to melt away for good. "O~oh, rrf, a~ahrf!" It was too intense for Brad to really even cry out, just softy moan and bark with pleasure as his sex fully, truly changed. Finally, a soft "Mm~mmmnnh..!" came out as it disappeared into him, rapidly converting into a full suite of feminine equipment inside and leaving something very different behind between the legs.
Brad softly panted, slowly rubbing her legs together and trying to get used to the feeling of nothing there. But, it wasn't exactly nothing; the newfound flatness of her groin came with a deeply pleasant, fuzzy sensation that made her feel warm all over, especially her cheeks, and had her instantly questioning why she'd ever wanted to stay a boy in the first place. "D-duude, I, I'm..mmnh..a ch-chick.." she mumbled softly, hearing a higher alto tone come out.

Then came a high "Rr~rrf!" as Brad's body declared it wasn't finished yet, a wonderful pushing sensation spreading from the site of her latest change out to her hips and thighs, causing them to spread out, curve and thicken into a very womanly figure. "Ah, a~ah..!" She twitched and thrashed in place as it continued upward, pushing her belly into an inward curve and flattening out the last bit of a bump there. Finally: "Yyyyip!" Her chest pushed out from the inside, instantly forming a pair of small bumps centered on her nipples that seemed extra sensitive as they pressed against the soft material of her shirt and the plush pillow in her arms.
"Aah, a~aah.." the new woman squeaked quietly as that last push gave way to a slower, more steady puffing and growing sensation from her chest. It was not unlike how her tail growing out had felt, except that every slight motion of the new skin excited the womanhood she hadn't had back then even more. "Rr, rrf..! Aa~aAahnn..!" She slowly turned over onto her front again, the pillow winding up almost where it had started as she pushed her face hard into it, nuzzling it excitedly some more. A strange thought came to her mind in the midst of all this: If only, instead of a pillow, it could be...!

"Rr~rrfh..!" One final, somewhat harder push brought Brad another burst of girlish pleasure down between her legs, this one feeling particularly satisfying, relieving, and final. She turned her head just enough for her nose to poke out from over the pillow, panting heavily from all of what had just happened—but also feeling terribly exhausted, as if the transformation itself had been a strenuous workout.

"Mmh, mmnh..D-darrhhmmn..." she mumbled softly, pressing her small hands into the mattress in front of her—thinking to get up and go tell him, show him, what had happened. But she felt so, so tired, and so terribly weak...she couldn't even lift her own significantly reduced weight at all. Her hands slid down to her sides, and as her breathing steadied the soft, fluffy, curvy wolf-girl could only let out a soft, helpless yip before sinking into a deep, dreamless sleep.

The wolf-girl awoke to the feeling of warmth on her skin—her face and legs. "Mm~mh," she groaned softly, her hands reaching around for the covers, but they weren't there—tossed off onto the floor by the violent motions she'd made during the transformation. Her clothes felt strangely tight compared to last night—the boxers missing the entirety of their leggings and hugging closely flat and snug between her legs, her shirt holding close to her new breasts with suddenly lengthened sleeves that clung to her arms all the way up to the wrists. Her tail was partially behind her, but somehow it wasn't uncomfortable at all this way.

Her ears twitched, picking up the sound that had actually stirred her: Feet hitting the floorboards—Darren walking...toward her room! He pushed the half-open door the rest of the way, starting to say "Hey, Brad, you—" before seeing her. She opened her eyes, feeling a warmth in her cheeks again, and blinked a couple of times while her friend's speech remained stuck in a seemingly-endless loop of "Uuuhhh".

Brad sat up, feeling a teasing grin spread across her face and her tail begin to wag. "Uh, m-morning. Soo, something totally happened when I tried to go to sleep last night. Can ya guess?"
"You turned into a girl!?" This was less an answer to her question and more his brain catching up to the situation enough to express his incredulity. The wolf-girl just hopped down to her feet, appreciating the fact that her eye level was about at his chest height now—which would make it very easy for him to reach down and brush his hand through her hair, pet her ears maybe?—and expanding her grin into a toothy smile that showed off her cute fangs as she slowly approached, looking up at him. He'd just woken up, so he didn't have his glasses on yet, and she wanted to give him a good look at her.

"Yyep. I uh, tried to get up to tell you right away but I was super tired right after it happened and just, y'know, konked out!"
"Why are you—how are you not—!?"
"Dude, quit freakin' out. I like it!" she chirped cutely, and then her smile turned a bit predatory, her tail wagging even faster as she looked up in his blushing face and realized just exactly what she was gonna do next. "I bet you like it too, huh? I'm a pretty hot wolf-chick, riight?"
By now she was close enough to be in full view of Darren's nearsighted eyes. He flushed brilliantly, those eyes seeming to have a lot of trouble deciding what to focus on: Her cute face? Her slim, cute frame? The nice, big breasts and slender waist her top held tight enough to show off? Her gorgeous hips and thighs? Or, maybe, all that exposed skin, from her lower bellow all the way down her legs, with only the tiniest pair of panties for some semblance of modesty?

Eventually he stammered, "T-that's not even—" but he couldn't finish his answer, because the white-furred wolf-girl interrupted him by pouncing, tackling him into a hug that knocked him straight down to the floor. Her tail swishing back and forth above her, she pressed her lips into his for a brief, loud smack of a kiss and lifted her head up just enough to give him a pleased, expectant look.
He could definitely see her face at this distance. One of his arms was starting to wrap around her slender waist, then the other; Brad's heart raced and her tail went into overdrive, her ears lowering to point out from the sides of her head. A realization spread across his face. He was figuring out what was going to happen next.

The wolf-girl leaned down slowly and pressed her lips gently against his, an invitation. This time he wasn't such a passive participant, and began to return the gesture right away, one hand pushing the back of her head down onto him to get their lips tighter together. She eagerly returned the kiss, some high yips and low, mature barks erupting in her throat as it grew especially passionate. His hands—yes!—were rubbing her ears, brushing through her hair, running down the curve of her side. In the span of a minute or two—which felt like hours—of kissing like this, their friendship transformed just as drastically as Brad's body had, a crush turning mutual, their attraction and friendship deepening it steadily into a passionate, irresistible love. The wolf-girl got to experience the same kind of pleasure as the night before, but even better now that it was with him.

Their heads barely separated when they came up for air. In between rapid panting that would've been unhealthy for a normal human, Brad said, "You..ffh, had any girlffh-..friends in ha~ah..high school, dude?"
"No..?"
"Chh—oulda fooled me..yip!" One of his hands had touched the base of her tail for a second. "You're, like, an expert."

Starting to regain a few of his faculties, Darren winced. "You hit my head on the floor p-pretty hard, man.."
"Pfh—heehehee!" A high, adorable giggle burst out of her. "Y-you total wimp." She pulled a hand up to grind a fist on the top of his head. "I coulda taken getting thrown through a wall if a girl as hot as me kissed me after!"
"Hmmph." Darren's hands reached up and started working on her ears, petting both of them at once from base to tip, and she couldn't do much but drop her arms back around him and enjoy the sensation.

"Rrf~! M~mmnnhh.." While Brad softly barked and yipped and murmured, she let him sit up and push her up onto her knees on top of his legs. He seemed to really be enjoying this, she thought; yesterday he'd acted like he wasn't into this sort of thing at all. But maybe he'd just been denying it because he thought Brad would find it weird...whatever. As long as he was happy, and it was her he was petting.
He finally finished, dropping one hand off and brushing the other gently down through her hair to her cheek. "D-dude. Seriously. Any pets?" she said, tilting her head slightly.
"Well, we had a cat once. You're way more receptive to head pats, though."
"Hmm~mmh!" The wolf-girl pushed herself forward, grabbing him into a tight embrace again, and after looking into his eyes for just a second aggressively pulled him into another long, deep kiss.

They didn't say anything while they caught their breath from this one, instead just maintaining a loose hug and staring at each other with wide smiles that were equal parts pleased and dazed from the last few minutes. The only sound was her big, fluffy tail swishing across the floor over and over. "I'm keeping this," Brad finally announced to break the silence. "I mean, I dunno what I gotta do or whatever to stay a hot, fit wolf-chick for..like, way over a week, but I'll do it."
"Uh.."
"Don't lie, dude, you want it too," she said, grinning savagely. "Bro to girlfriend is a straight upgrade, no matter what the sayings, uh..say."
"Well, I mean..yeah. But, there's a lot that goes into, like, adjusting to a completely different body shape for...a long time, maybe? Not to mention, uh...stuff that comes with being a girl, a-and other people finding out what happened, and..yeesh. Is it worth it?"

As a reply, Brad just pushed herself onto him again, drowning his worries in another long, passionate kiss. The answer to his question was obvious enough to both of them by the time it was over.

"...Y-yeah, okay." The wolf-girl's belly growled. "Are you..hungry?"
"Starving! Dude, turning into a hot girl really takes it outta ya!" she said, half-joking...but she really was hungry. Brad's characteristic bottomless stomach was still there, it seemed, but hopefully her metabolism could keep up now.

Darren came back Monday afternoon with a solution already: A form-locking ring which kept a transformed person from reverting. The enchantment was normally considered useless for its flaw, which would gradually shift the wearer's base form over to the one it was maintaining, but...well, that was a bonus for them. Brad's body grew more fit and toned with her usual exercise, despite her ravenous appetite, and she did wind up with abs after all. And they kept up their regular "dates" on Saturdays, with plenty of petting and making out added on to the program!
