I know I've been using generated images in captions a fair bit recently. I still kind of prefer drawn images in a lot of ways, but have been having a harder time finding ones that inspire me enough recently. Generated images are not necessarily easier, but they have the advantage that I'm always guaranteed I can get more of them, and if there's one I almost like, then it's usually possible to "tweak" it into something I really like. But I'm just a little bit curious (or apprehensive, even) whether anyone is bothered by me using them?
