I find it very easy to imagine a mortified Kael finding the letter at the end of the year as he clears out his locker. Or even never finding it at all, since he's got a magic bag of holding now. Could have just dumped it all in there and left the locker there empty forever.
From the prospect of a magical war breaking out, which it kinda feels like this story could lead to eventually, Kristen's ability went from just 'really good' to 'literally incredible'. If she learned any kind of martial art, she'd be incredibly dangerous to any kind of magic-wielding foe. In its new form where she could also be buffed and healed, she wouldn't even have to worry about being seen as a liability as complete magic immunity would have made her unhealable.
I have to wonder if the reason Kael didn't get the sense that he'd changer her is because he was like a magic void, more or less. Basically just not even registering as a possibility for interaction.
At least his power didn't cancel out his luck as well. Touma, however, is always cursing his misfortune.
