Blessing in Self-Defense

Here's another part to the series that began with Shore's Emissary!

It's been a while since I wrote the first few, but as I was writing Shore's Emissary, I had several candidate images for a series, and this was one of them. A few days ago I just suddenly had what felt like a good idea for this one and ran with it. Anyway, since there's now four of these I went ahead and gave them their own tag ("Kai") so it's easier to find them all.

A Midlife Purchase

A sequel to Weight Loss Program, which followed Shore's Emissary.

Edit: Forgot to fix the link; it's corrected now. If you notice a similar resolution problem in the future, do please let me know in a comment, but you can also reach the higher-resolution version by looking for where in the image's url, near the end, it says "s1600" or such and changing that bit to "s6400".

Weight Loss Program

A sequel of Shore's Emissary!

As a side note, I couldn't quite believe that I not only haven't used this title before, but don't seem to even have used any titles with the word "weight" in them. It's certainly an obvious concept that I have used before, but I suppose I was more original with my titles in the past.

Shore's Emissary

Finally managed to get a caption written again. Wow.
