Midnight Merger

This one turned out kind of long for being a caption, but I was determined to actually, properly put out a caption, so here it is anyway. If it proves annoying to read, let me know; I can edit in a "story" version later if it's needed.

EDIT: If you saw this right when it was posted, you might not have been able to reach the image; google has once again screwed things up even worse, this time with how it generates an image link within a blog post. I think I've got it fixed now.
